Birds Hunting

Season:  The hunting season for ruffed grouse, spruce grouse and sharp-tailed grouse begins September 21 and ends December 31.  A firearm, crossbow or bow may be used for hunting grouse and gray partridge, with a daily bag limit of 5 and the total possession limit of 15.

Other types of birds available for hunting include ducks of many kinds, Canadian geese and woodcock.  The services of a guide and game dressing can also be purchased for an additional fee.
